Primary Purpose
Provides coaching and support to classroom teachers to ensure the continuous development of instructional skills among assigned teachers and improvement of instructional practices to increase student achievement.
Education / Certification
- Master's degree from an accredited university or currently enrolled in a graduate program
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
Special Knowledge / Skills
- Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation
- Knowledge in the Science of Teaching Reading
- Ability to demonstrate success in teaching utilizing instructional technology
- Ability to interpret data and evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
- Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience
