JOB GOAL:

Provide leadership in developing, achieving, and maintaining high-quality instruction throughout all educational settings and support teachers in strengthening instructional practices, improving student achievement, fostering equitable learning environments, and ensuring all students experience rigorous, engaging, and student-centered learning opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Master's Degree Preferred
  • New Jersey Instructional Certification in the appropriate subject matter and level
  • Demonstrated expertise in supporting and coaching educators in the effective integration of instructional best practices to enhance teaching and learning outcomes
  • Minimum of four years of classroom teaching experience
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, visualize and communicate using data
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies
  • Innovative, patient, forward thinking, ability to work with diverse needs in staff and students
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • K-12 Pedagogy
  • Possesses a mindset of ongoing learning, experimentation, innovation, and enthusiasm
  • Demonstrates a commitment to professional development
  • Successful Criminal History Clearance
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization

Salary: as per BHEA and BHBOE negotiated contract agreement
