Location/Schedule
This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters and follows a hybrid schedule with four days in-office and one remote day each week.
What You'll do in this Role
- Design and develop blended learning solutions (eLearning, ILT/VILT, job aids, assessments, and performance support tools) using established instructional design methodologies, templates, and standards
- Apply adult learning principles to create content that improves learner engagement, retention, and on-the-job application
- Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to gather content, clarify learning objectives, and ensure accuracy of training materials
- Create and maintain learning materials that support frequent updates to policy, process, systems, and operational changes
- Produce multimedia learning assets, including video recording, editing, scriptwriting, and basic animation to support scalable learning delivery
- Incorporate stakeholder and peer feedback to refine learning solutions and ensure they meet learner needs and operational realities
- Support intake and requirements gathering under the direction of project leads, including documenting key needs, timelines, and constraints
- Manage assigned tasks and deadlines within larger learning initiatives, communicating progress, dependencies, and risks to project leads
- Ensure all learning solutions align with Maverik brand standards, quality expectations, and accessibility best practices
Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.
You'll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:
- 1+ years of instructional design, training development, or related experience
- Experience developing learning content using eLearning authoring tools and media software (Articulate 360 preferred, Adobe Suite, Camtasia, etc.)
- Experience supporting basic video production (recording, editing, script writing, and voice-over support)
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and task management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multiple stakeholders
Bonus points if you also bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, Communication, Human Resource Development, Educational Technology, or a related field preferred
- Associate degree with relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree
- Instructional Design certification preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range:$68,000-$80,000/year DOE and Bonus Opportunities
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
