QUALIFICATIONS

Experience designing and developing instructor-led, virtual, and web-based training (WBT)
Strong instructional design foundation (e.g., ADDIE or similar methodology)
Ability to translate complex technical content into clear, learner-friendly materials
Experience working with SMEs to gather and validate content
Familiarity with tools such as Articulate, Captivate, or similar eLearning authoring tools
Understanding of compliance-driven or technical training environments is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop instructor-led (classroom) and on-the-job (field based) training for apprenticeships in the Power Generation utility industry.
Perform detailed task analysis for hydro utility workers performing complex, high-risk, hands-on work.
Create hands-on practice activities, student guides, facilitator guides, and scenario-based learning materials.
Develop assessments, simulations, videos and other instructional media to support applied skills development and job performance.
Define learning objectives, and course structure aligned to stakeholder needs and to meet the constraints of safety requirements and remote learning environments.
Work under the direction of the Senior Instructional Designer to apply company standards, guidelines, and templates.  
Participate in milestone meetings with subject matter experts, including task analysis, alpha, beta, train the trainer, and pilot.
Engage with subject matter experts for ongoing content review and validation.
