Overview
Southern California Edison (Client) is seeking a Senior Training Specialist / Instructional Designer to develop and manage impactful learning solutions across the organization. This role combines instructional design, technical training development, and LMS administration to support enterprise-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex training materials, including curricula, job aids, and assessments
  • Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to define learning objectives and identify training gaps
  • Maintain and improve existing training programs and learning assets
  • Support training delivery, including Train-the-Trainer sessions
  • Manage SuccessFactors LMS (course uploads, tracking, reporting, user support)
  • Coordinate training schedules and track learner progress and outcomes
  • Analyze program effectiveness and implement continuous improvements
  • Collaborate across teams to support ERP/SAP and business transformation initiatives

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years in training, instructional design, or organizational readiness
  • 2+ years supporting or leading training programs or initiatives
  • Experience with LMS administration (SuccessFactors preferred)
  • Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), and Microsoft 365
  • Knowledge of SAP/S4HANA or similar systems
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in technical or craft training (e.g., utilities, engineering)
  • Understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design models (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick)
  • Background in ERP implementations or enterprise training programs
