Instructional Designer

Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking an Instructional Designer.

Responsibilities:

• Designs training programs, including classroom lectures, online courses, and self-study sessions, directed at employees, organization members, or those who use the organization's products or services
• Develops and updates course content and coordinates learning curriculum
• Conducts assessment and analysis to identify new development needs and recommends training methods accordingly
• Maintains in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the related field
• Prioritize assignments and tasks in Project Management software (JWM), maintain transparent documentation on progress and actions taken/next steps to move assignments forward timely
• Create interactive facilitator led content for highly technical advanced property claims training, or standalone digital content using a variety of tools like Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise - simulations, and other multimedia tools to develop training; Large need for instructor led training via PPT
• Review data to identify performance gaps
• Work with SMEs and teammates to determine root cause and create solutions that drive optimal performance
• Prioritize multiple concurrent assignments and create high quality learning deliverables on time or early. Identify roadblocks and raise risks with potential solutions
• Act with a sense of urgency and ownership in a collaborative team environment
• Apply adult learning principles and training strategies to break down complex advanced property claims skills into digestible topics to accelerate performance using a variety of tools and approaches to satisfy the learning, performance, and business needs
• Emphasis on rapid prototyping and lean effective solutions that drive meaningful, measurable results
