Position Summary:

As an Instructional Designer for the SP&D team, you spearhead the development and maintenance of learning content, tools, compliance with legal standards, and programs crucial for our employees' success. Collaborate with Curriculum Development experts and Subject Matter Experts to craft engaging and effective learning solutions tailored to our business needs. Your role involves designing, analyzing, and refining content using various methodologies to ensure alignment with company policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Define learning objectives, course structure, and assessments.
Conduct detailed analysis of content and tasks, aligning them with audience needs
and business processes.
Create project plans and track budget as necessary.
Develop learning materials adhering to company standards, including presentations, guides, activities, and assessments.
Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts through meetings and content reviews.
Incorporate feedback and manage tasks and deadlines independently.
Communicate issues and risks proactively to ensure smooth project execution.

Required Skills:
3+ years experience developing instructor-led, eLearning, or virtual training in a technical environment preferably in a utility industry.
Proficiency in technical writing.
Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
Familiarity with Excel.
Prioritize work of multiple projects; work under pressure while remaining flexible.

Highly Desired:
Experience with QuestionMark and Author-It.
Comfortable working on a High Performing Team environment.
Strong safety knowledge.
