Position Summary: This position serves in the Deaf Studies and Professional Studies (DSPS) Division in the College of Education (COE) at Western Oregon University (WOU) as a full time instructional faculty member in Interpreting Studies. Primary responsibilities may include all or a combination of the following duties: teaching within the Interpreting Studies programs at WOU (undergraduate and/or graduate); academic advising of students; and service to one or more of the programs in the DS PS Division, COE, and WOU. Required Qualifications: Please ensure your application materials clearly demonstrate how you meet the following: Master 's Degree in Interpreting, interpreter education or related field Demonstrated teaching experience in higher education In interpreting, interpreter education or related field Professional Communication: Demonstrates effective written, verbal, and signed communication with colleagues, students, community members, staff, and other university personnel.
