Responsible for demonstrating LSSC's core values of Caring, Communicating, Collaborating, and Celebrating when interacting with students, employees, visitors, and community members. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Tutor and provide general assistance to students and community patrons in an atmosphere conducive to learning. Tutoring includes online, face-to-face, and group sessions. Mentor peer assistants. Continually improve knowledge of subject area(s) and tutoring skills. Assist or attend workshops and seminars for students, faculty, and staff. Encourage students and community patrons to develop confidence and become independent learners. Maintain work confidentiality. Encourage students to develop confidence and to become more independent learners.
