The Instructional Support Teacher provides direct, targeted support to students struggling in the area of mathematics. The interventionist will have a caseload of students identified by district criteria as needing an intensive level of intervention and will be responsible for intervention delivery, progress monitoring, and progress record entry and maintenance. Additionally, the Instructional Support Teacher provides instructional and/or behavioral coaching for classroom teachers, assists with positive student behavior, and supports the principal in leading continuous school improvement efforts through data-driven decision-making.
