Position: Instructional Technology Integration Specialist
Certification: Any Valid State of WI Teaching License (K-12)
The Instructional Technology Integration Specialist works collaboratively with K -12 educators, PLCs, and administrators to design, model, and integrate innovative technology into daily instruction. A strong presence in the classroom leadership, comfortable in presenting to large groups, able to digitally create classroom content, and can work collaboratively in a team environment.
This role serves as an instructional designer, platform administrator, and professional development leader - championing district technology initiatives, driving AI adoption, and providing direct support to teachers and students to enhance learning outcomes.
Qualifications:
Must have 3-4 years of experience as an effective teacher leveraging learning management systems (e.g., Canvas) and other edtech platforms to support learning, gather real-time student data, inform instruction, and transform learning and student engagement. Experience in platforms such as Canvas, Google Workspace, Chromebooks, Apple iWork, iPad, EdPuzzle, Canva, and/or Google Gemini is preferred.
During the interview process, candidates can expect a formal interview in addition to creating and presenting a brief 5-10 minute "micro training" on a technology tool or strategy of their choice. The presentation should be targeted towards a group of teachers in need of professional development on the topic chosen.
