Job Description
The Instructor or Assistant Professor of Biology is responsible for the development and instruction of course materials in the field of biology, both on campus and online, and is capable of teaching freshman and sophomore college-level courses.
Job Responsibilities
- 65% Instruct college level biology courses.
- 20% Office hours and advising
- 10% Committee Work/University Service
- 5% Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters degree in biology or related field
- OR Masters degree in unrelated field plus 18 credit hours in related biology field from a regionally accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Biology or related field
- 3 years experience
- College level instruction in biology
- Anatomy and Physiology lecture and lab preferred
Specific Experience
