SUMMARYModule 4 AquaticsDelivers swimming instruction to individuals and groups ofall ages in a community center setting emphasizing water safety fundamentalswim skills and stroke development. Designs engaging lessons that buildconfidence and encourage lifelong aquatic proficiency. Maintains a safelearning environment by adhering to facility protocols and emergencyprocedures. Must hold current certifications in the following Water Safety Instructor WSI certification through the American Red Cross or equivalentESSENTIALFUNCTIONSProvides instruction to students and community members.Develops and presents the department with a curriculum that provides students with a full experience and is structured to accommodate all fitness levels.Sets up in preparation for and cleans up after each class. Performs other duties as assigned.
