General Description/Primary Purpose:

The Department of Construction Management is seeking a 12-month, non-tenure earning, Instructor of Construction Management. Position responsibilities include 4/4 teaching load or its equivalent, and service.

 

Supervisor: This position will report to the Department Chair.

 

Working Hours:  Varies

 

Supervision Exercised: This is not a supervisory role.

 

Required Licensure: N/A

 

Anticipated Start Date: The position is expected to begin on August 2, 2027. 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated ability and track record to instruct undergraduate students in the field of construction management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 

Preferred Qualifications / Skills:

  • A minimum of two years of college-level teaching experience in subjects such as computer applications, construction management, and capstone projects
  • A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience in construction management
