This posting is for a full-time, 12-month, unclassified, in-person, on-site, faculty position for our Bossier, Natchitoches, and Sabine Valley campuses.

Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Requirement:

Bachelors degree in computer science or related IT field with a minimum of three (3) years professional IT experience or three (3) years of teaching experience; OR a masters degree in computer science or related IT field.

Experience:

The three (3) years of professional experience will need to be in one of the following areas: Cyber Security, Networking, Software Development, Programming, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Virtualization, Computer Forensics, Information Assurance, or Penetration Testing

Skills:

Strong personal initiative. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent written, oral and electronic communication skills. Strong leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across departments. Must possess advanced IT skills. Ability / willingness to learn new technologies.

Job Duties and Other Information

Instructor duties to include, but not limited to:

• Instruction of students in CTEC.
• Contributions to the continued development of the curriculum.
• Participation in professional growth and community service.
• Maintenance of conference and academic advising hours.
• Committee work.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
