Oversees the total instruction of a program - development of curriculum, direct instruction, participant support.
Acts as a role model for participants by appearance, behavior and attitude, while representing this department and the City of Middletown.
Responsible for proper use and care of facilities and equipment assigned to the program.
Reports orally or in writing employee discipline or accommodations to Recreation Supervisor.
Adhere to Recreation and Community Services Department policies and procedures and City ordinances.
Report any problems, unsafe conditions, or disciplinary actions concerning participants or the general public to Recreation Division.
Writes and submits reports such as accident reports, disciplinary reports or attendance and ensures proper follow through.
Submits recommendations for equipment purchase for future years.
Responsible for handling any emergencies that may occur during the program.
When applicable, monitors staff hours, reviews and approves all time.
Implements a program of inclusion to ensure all members of our community are welcome.
Responsible for other duties as assigned by supervisor.
