Western Medical Training Center is
seeking a Part -Time Pharmacy Technician Instructor<\/b> to support the
delivery of our pharmacy technician training program.<\/span>
<\/p>
The instructor will provide classroom
instruction, hands -on lab training, and student mentorship<\/b> to prepare
students for entry -level pharmacy technician roles in retail, hospital, and
clinical pharmacy settings.<\/span>

Instruction
& Student Development<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Deliver engaging pharmacy technician instruction<\/b> in both online and in -person settings<\/span>
<\/li> - Teach core topics including:<\/span>
<\/li>- Pharmacy operations<\/span>
<\/li> - Medication safety<\/span>
<\/li> - Prescription processing<\/span>
<\/li> - Pharmacy calculations<\/span>
<\/li> - Drug classifications<\/span>
<\/li> - Inventory management<\/span>
<\/li> - Patient interaction and professionalism<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul> - Facilitate hands -on training in lab environments<\/b> simulating real pharmacy workflows<\/span>
<\/li> - Demonstrate proper pharmacy procedures including:<\/span>
<\/li>- Prescription intake and data entry<\/span>
<\/li> - Medication preparation and labeling<\/span>
<\/li> - Dosage calculations<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
Qualifications<\/span><\/b>

Required<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or
NHA ExCPT)<\/b><\/span>
<\/li> - Minimum 2 years pharmacy technician experience<\/b><\/span>
<\/li> - Experience working in retail pharmacy, hospital
pharmacy, or clinical pharmacy<\/b><\/span>
<\/li> - Strong communication and teaching ability<\/span>
<\/li> - Passion for workforce development and student success<\/span>
<\/li> - Ability to demonstrate pharmacy procedures clearly and
safely<\/span>

<\/p>- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience<\/span>
