Overview:

University Instructors (UI) is seeking a dynamic Instructor Quality & Support Specialist
with a strong passion for both instructional excellence and operational support of K–12
programs. In this role, you will work in schools as both the primary instructional coach
and the day-to-day support contact for UI instructors, ensuring high-quality teaching,
strong program implementation, and positive student outcomes.

Responsibilities:


Instructional Coaching, Observation, and Support
• Conduct formal and informal classroom observations of instructors
• Provide actionable instructional feedback on pedagogy, classroom management,
and delivery
• Develop and implement instructional coaching plans
• Serve as the primary pedagogical resource and instructional coach
• Provide real-time instructional guidance and problem-solving support
• Collaborate to implement coaching cycles and support continuous improvement
Daily Program & Instructor Support
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for instructors
• Monitor program implementation including attendance, assignments, and progress
• Ensure instructors are prepared with materials, access, and expectations
• Provide mentorship and support in navigating classroom and school systems
• Track and support operational needs including timekeeping and reporting
Professional Development & Training
• Design and deliver professional development sessions to improve instructional
practice
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation for instructors
• Provide ongoing professional learning aligned to instructional and operational
expectations
• Tailor training content to align with campus operational and instructional expectations
Instructional Quality & Data Analysis
• Analyze student performance data to identify trends and inform instruction
• Guide instructors in using assessment data to improve teaching
• Recommend improvements based on instructional data and observations
• Monitor program-wide instructional quality and recommend systemic improvements
Compliance & Safety
• Ensure adherence to school, district, and organizational policies
• Monitor compliance with contractual and program requirements
• Document and report safety concerns
Collaborative Communication & Program Quality
• Communicate regularly with leadership regarding program status and instructor
performance
• Collaborate across teams to ensure comprehensive support
• Provide feedback on program implementation and instructor progress
• Support program quality reviews and continuous improvement efforts
School Partnerships
• Maintain strong relationships with school leaders and staff
• Participate in meetings and represent program quality and instructional effectiveness
• Align support with campus goals and expectations
• Address concerns from school partners proactivel

Qualifications:

Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
• Strong understanding of instructional best practices and pedagogy
• Experience with instructional coaching and observation cycles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data and drive instructional improvement
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Problem-solving and client service orientation
Education and Work Experience
• Master’s degree required
• K–12 teaching license required; administrative license preferred
• Minimum of 5 years K–12 classroom experience required
• Minimum 2 years instructional leadership or coaching experience required

Compensation:

$45 Houry/ Expected Hours between 30-40 hours a week during the school yaer
