Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly by following approved work instructions and procedures.
  • Assemble instruments, sub-assemblies, and medical device components accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products meet quality specifications.
  • Complete and maintain Device History Records (DHR) and required production documentation.
  • Read and interpret assembly instructions, work orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, quality personnel, and production teams to resolve assembly issues.
  • Support new product introductions and recommend improvements to assembly methods.
  • Collect and document production measurements and performance data.
  • Participate in quality improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Complete timesheets and required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Assist in updating process and product documentation.
Experience Required
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical assembly preferred.
  • Experience using hand tools in assembly operations.
  • Experience within medical device manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with quality-controlled production environments preferred.

Eligibilities & qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or vocational training in electro-mechanical assembly is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks, including reaching and bending.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in other production areas.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
