Days & Night Shift Available

Pay DOE: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour

Overview

Apache Workforce is seeking experienced Instrument Fitters to support the assembly and installation of industrial instrumentation systems for leading manufacturing partners. This role is responsible for installing and routing stainless steel tubing, fabricating instrument supports, and ensuring instrumentation systems are assembled accurately according to engineering drawings and P&IDs.

Candidates should have strong experience bending stainless steel tubing, interpreting blueprints, and working with industrial instrumentation systems in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Instrument Fitters are responsible for:

  • Installing and routing pneumatic tubing for industrial equipment and process systems

  • Laying out tubing on equipment skids according to engineering specifications

  • Running tubing to valves, transmitters, gauges, and other end devices

  • Bending and fabricating 1/4" to 1/2" stainless steel tubing with precision

  • Fabricating bracket braces, instrument supports, and instrument racks as required

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, P&IDs, and instrumentation drawings

  • Verifying proper tubing routing, alignment, and installation

  • Maintaining clean and organized work areas while following 5S principles

  • Following OSHA regulations and company safety policies

  • Participating in safety meetings and training

  • Performing additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an Instrument Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Experience bending and installing stainless steel tubing

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and general arrangement drawings

  • Knowledge of instrumentation end devices and process flow systems

  • Familiarity with structural shapes, tubing materials, and installation methods

  • Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in industrial manufacturing or fabrication

  • Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems

  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and manufacturing best practices

  • Experience working in lean manufacturing or 5S environments

Work Environment

Work is performed in an industrial manufacturing and fabrication facility and may include:

  • Standing for up to 10 hours per shift

  • Working up to 6 days per week based on production needs

  • Frequent lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.

  • Bending, reaching, climbing, and repetitive movement throughout the shift

  • Working in a non-climate-controlled environment

  • Exposure to industrial equipment and manufacturing noise

  • Steel-toe boots required

  • Safety glasses required

  • Hearing protection recommended

Pay Range

$20.00 – $28.00 per hour (DOE)
