Ecco is seeking a skilled and reliable Instrument Fitter with Pneumatic Tubing Fitting experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with stainless steel tubing installation, strong knowledge of pneumatic systems, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced industrial environment.   Candidates that have solid instrument fitting experience but lack pneumatic tube fitting will be trained. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Install stainless steel (SS) tubing and supports in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
  • Interpret and work from P&IDs, schematics, and layout drawings
  • Perform precise measuring, cutting, reaming, and bending of tubing using hand and bench benders
  • Install single-line and rack tubing systems
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas (good housekeeping practices)
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other trades
  • Assist in maintaining project schedules and production goals
  • Apply knowledge of pneumatic systems, including elevations, offsets, and design considerations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in tubing installation, preferably with stainless steel systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Strong understanding of pneumatic components and system layouts
  • Background in I&E (Instrumentation & Electrical) construction
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and professional attitude
  • Demonstrated work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Requirements

  • Must be able to work 40–80 hours per week, as required
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be physically capable of lifting heavy materials and climbing scaffolding
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Parker Autoclave training or experience preferred
  • Swagelok TSTP-OG certification and/or FK Fitting Installation Essentials preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Experience working under deadlines and maintaining production targets

Work Environment

  • Industrial and construction job sites
  • May involve working at heights, in varying weather conditions, and extended hours
