Sterile Processing Technician – Travel Assignment

Position: Sterile Processing Technician
Location: 450 Northside Cherokee Boulevard, Canton, GA 30115
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule

• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Shift Pattern: 5 x 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes
• Support operating room and procedural departments by providing sterile instrumentation and supplies

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Sterile Processing experience preferred
• Knowledge of sterilization procedures, instrument identification, and infection prevention standards
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• CRCST certification preferred (if applicable per facility requirements)

Additional Information

• Local candidates are not accepted if residing within 50 miles of the facility.
• Scrub Color: Dark Blue (provided by the facility)
