Instrument Technician II (certified)

Job Summary: Performs all functions related to sterile processing and surgical case cart processing in accordance with established standards. These functions, include, but are not limited to, decontamination, surgical instrument processing, instrument/instrument set assembly,sterilization, surgical case cart assembly and medical equipment cleaning/disinfection. Personally responsible for obtaining CEUs, bookkeeping and applications to maintain professional Certification. Qualifications:High School diploma. Certified (and maintains) Instrument Technician Certification (i.e. CRCST or CBSPD) or related equivalent certification. Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
