Our Client, a Automotive Manufacturing company, is looking for a Instrument Technician for their Pontiac MI location.

Responsibilities:
- Calibration of low to medium level instrumentation.
- Document creation and retention according to local policies.
- Adherence to all local (Company’s) safety policies.
- Actively contribute to the group's business plan development goals.
- Willingness to be trained in multiple types of calibration disciplines.
Requirements:
- Work environment - Office/Lab environment with occasional support on the test floor
- Daily breakdown – team meeting in the morning 10-15 minutes, discuss any pressing issues or concerns, they have reports that they look at to decide priority of the work, mostly working on the bench
- Interaction level with the team – a lot interaction, between the techs, calling the customers and engineering groups, there is a level of heads down independent work, but must be able to function in a team
- Years of experience – 1-2 years of experience
- Education requirement - Associate's degree is a nice to have, not required.
- High School Diploma is required
- Basic computer skills:
- Ability to follow written instructions
- Some technical background – does not have to be specifically in calibration, experience with electrical technician background is good
