Job Description
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician for a sterile processing department supporting surgical services. The role involves cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, and preparing surgical instruments to ensure safe operating room readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Reprocess and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Perform decontamination, assembly, and packaging of instrument trays
- Ensure proper tracking and documentation of instruments
- Maintain infection control and sterilization standards
- Support operating room efficiency through timely instrument turnaround
- Follow all hospital safety and sterile processing protocols
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent sterile processing experience required
- HSPA Certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of instrument reprocessing procedures
- Ability to work consistent evening shifts
- Detail-oriented with strong safety compliance awareness
