We are seeking a reliable safety minded Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to join our Fallon, NV team. Youwill be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.
Wage: $36-38hr DOE

Responsibilities:
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
- Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions.
- Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations.
- Maintains accurate records and logs as required.
- Installs new system controls (including power wiring).
- Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers.
- Services and replaces motors and lighting.
- Performs general electrical maintenance.
- On Call required.
- Other duties as assigned.
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors:
- HS Diploma or Equivalent.
- 3-5 years combined of plant experience.
- Instrument and/or electrical training, degree, or certification preferred.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Journeyman Electrician License is a plus.
- 1+ years experience in DCS systems preferred.
- 1+ years of VFD programming experience preferred.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, electronic schematics, and PID’s (process instrumentation diagrams).
- 480v experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stand, stoop, climb, and work at heights.
