Description
We are looking for an engineer to design, develop and deploy calibration and test instrumentation systems for Apple’s best-in-class products
This engineer will work closely with multi-functional groups (Design, ME, EE, SW, Ops, etc.) throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase to ensure the success of current and future Apple products
Minimum Qualifications
+ Masters/ Bachelors in Robotics/Mechatronics/Electrical/ Computer Engineering + 5+ years of professional experience in design, development, debug, validation and working with electro-mechanical systems
Preferred Qualifications
+ Programming skills in one or more of the following: C/C++/Objective-C, along with scripting knowledge (Python, Lua) + Proven understanding of consumer electronics modules like transducers/ sensors (light/force/pressure/touch/motion) + Understanding of test principles, GRR, experience with test automation and optimization + Experience and strong background in control system and signal processing + Experience in high volume consumer electronics manufacturing + Experience with digital serial communication protocols (USB, UART, I2C, SPI) + Experience with data processing tools - plotting, processing and mining data + Experience or deep understanding to AI/ML modeling + Experience analyzing and processing large data sets + Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to handle many priorities across multiple rigors + Domestic and international travel may be required (up to 10%) Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity
