PGS Worldwide is seeking an Instrumentation Technician in Jupiter, FL for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The Instrumentation Technician will provide hands-on support for building, installing, maintaining, and operating instrumentation systems used to collect measurement data for engineering teams. This role includes harness build, wire termination, sensor installation, system checkout, calibration support, and operation of data acquisition and recording equipment. The position requires instrumentation experience, cable harness experience, electrical schematic reading, soldering, and wire stripping and crimping skills.

Required Skills

4–6 years of instrumentation experience.

4–6 years of cable harness experience.

4–6 years of experience reading electrical schematics.

4–6 years of soldering experience.

4–6 years of experience stripping and crimping wires.

Experience supporting instrumentation systems used to provide measurement data.

Ability to follow travelers, standard operating procedures, planned maintenance instructions, and calibration requirements.

Experience with harness build and aircraft integration.

Experience with wire terminations and sensor installation.

Ability to support instrumentation system preparation, installation, checkout, and operation.

Ability to operate data acquisition systems and other recording equipment.

Ability to travel domestically for offsite program support.

What You’ll Do

Build and maintain instrumentation systems for engineering measurement data.

Apply instructions prepared by technicians in the form of travelers.

Assist with preparation, installation, checkout, and operation of instrumentation systems.

Follow planned maintenance and calibration procedures.

Read and interpret electrical wiring schematics.

Build harnesses and support on-aircraft integration.

Perform wire terminations, sensor installation, and sensor preparation.

Follow standard operating procedures for instrumentation and control equipment.

Maintain data accuracy and support valid measurement collection.

Operate data acquisition systems and recording equipment.

Support domestic travel to offsite program locations as needed.

Pay

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
