We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration unit is seeking an Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed. Clean Harbors Kimball is searching for a reliable and safety oriented I&E Technician with an excellent mechanical aptitude to join our team! Hourly pay- DOE, paid weekly. Monday- Friday, 45 hrs. per week minimum, 5/ 9-10 hr. days, start at 6 am. Must be willing to work on-call and needed and live within 45-minutes of the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions
- Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations
- Maintains accurate records and logs as required
- Services and replaces motors and lighting
- Performs general electrical maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS Diploma or Equivalent- required
- 1+ years instrumentation experience within an industrial environment required
- Proficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematics- required
- Proficiency in process and PLC instrumentation diagrams- required
- Instrument training, degree, or certification - preferred
- Electrical experience and training a plus
- Ability to work in team environment
- Proficiency in Windows based applications
- Ability to perform multiple tasks
- Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste
- Climb up and down vertical ladders
- Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force
- 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Valid Driver's License required
- Punctuality and attendance required
- Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
- Background check, drug screen and physical- required
- Updated resume, including the most recent employer required
