Description
EmployBridge is now URGENTLY hiring Instrumentation Technicians in Oak Ridge, TN.
Pay: $22/hr - $32/hr based on experience
Job Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation and electrical (I&E) devices, including temperature, pressure, and flow sensors, switches, and valves (pneumatic and electronic).
- Read and interpret P&ID diagrams and work with programs such as Set Route for electrical verification and component tracking.
- Support calibration staff by providing technical expertise, including troubleshooting field equipment and evaluating repair vs. replacement decisions.
- Diagnose and repair issues in-field; determine if re-calibration is sufficient or if equipment replacement is necessary.
- Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and wiring of systems per manufacturer specs, blueprints, and plant engineering drawings.
Requirements for this role:
- HSD/GED Required
- 3-5 years of Instrumentation Technician experience required
