The Instrumentman will operate the equipment used for surveying under the supervision of a Party Chief. The Instrumentman will be a champion and leader of our company core values, while maintaining internal and external client engagement and satisfaction.
Some responsibilities include:
Loading equipment required for the project into the company vehicle before traveling to the job site
Operating survey equipment including but not limited to Total Station, GPS, Data Collector, RTK, Magnetometer (land), Tinker and Rasor, M-Scope, Vivax, Radiodetection, and Gradiometer (water)
Safely and effectively cutting and clearing brush and trees from the line of survey
Probing pipelines by pushing and pulling probing rods
Assisting in keeping field notes and making basic calculations that are needed to perform stakeouts
