    Job Description

    The Instrumentman will operate the equipment used for surveying under the supervision of a Party Chief. The Instrumentman will be a champion and leader of our company core values, while maintaining internal and external client engagement and satisfaction.

    Some responsibilities include:

    • Loading equipment required for the project into the company vehicle before traveling to the job site
    • Operating survey equipment including but not limited to Total Station, GPS, Data Collector, RTK, Magnetometer (land), Tinker and Rasor, M-Scope, Vivax, Radiodetection, and Gradiometer (water)
    • Safely and effectively cutting and clearing brush and trees from the line of survey
    • Probing pipelines by pushing and pulling probing rods
    • Assisting in keeping field notes and making basic calculations that are needed to perform stakeouts
