Nesco Resource has partnered with an insurance agency in Ronkonkoma, NY in their pursuit to hire a  Insurance Account Manager. This is a permanent position to join an established agency where cold calling is NOT required!
 
What you need to know:

  • Starting Pay: $65,000-$75,000/year + commission
  • Hours: 9AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday (no nights/no weekends)
  • 100% Onsite role in Ronkonkoma, NY
  • Cold calling is not required
  • Training and support provided for commercial lines insurance for candidates with primarily personal lines experience.

Responsibilities of the Insurance Account Manager
  • Handle inbound leads, service existing clients, and cross-sell insurance products 
  • Manage and quote inbound leads for home, auto, boat, and contractor insurance
  • Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing clients
  • Remarket existing accounts to ensure continued client satisfaction
  • Cross-sell insurance products to maximize coverage opportunities
  • Update and maintain client records in the HawkSoft Agency Management System
  • Utilize a diverse portfolio of personal and commercial insurance products to provide tailored solutions to clients
Requirements of the Insurance Account Manager
  • Valid New York State Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • 3+ years of experience with an independent agency environment, with familiarity across multiple insurance carriers
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
