Johnson Service Group is seeking an Insurance Accounting, Associate in Orange County, CA.  This is a hybrid position. 
Monday-Friday 8am- 5:00pm
Pay rate:  $24.10 per hour

Required Skills:
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience,
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Tableau
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated integrity and a collaborative team mindset

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with insurance products such as vehicle service contracts or GAP insurance
  • Familiarity with Korean Sarbanes-Oxley (KSOX) controls
  • Prior experience in audit support and financial statement preparation

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting, with industry-specific knowledge advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to support month-end close, audit, and compliance activities
  • Ability to prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and detailed financial reports
  • Occasional participation in control testing and audit processes
