Job Summary

We're hiring an Insurance Advisor to serve as the primary client-facing contact for home and auto insurance quotes. You'll guide clients through coverage options, close warm referral business (no cold calling), and manage the onboarding process from quote to policy. This is a mentorship-driven role with a clear path for growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Quote home and auto insurance policies accurately based on each client's needs
• Present coverage options clearly, without jargon, so clients understand exactly what they're buying and why
• Close warm, referral-based leads provided by the agency — no cold calling required
• Onboard new clients smoothly, making sure paperwork, payments, and policy details are handled correctly
• Keep CRM records current and accurate after every client interaction
• Collaborate with agency team members to ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience
• Stay current on P&C carrier products, rates, and relevant coverage changes

Required Qualifications

• Missouri Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license, or willingness to obtain one shortly after hire
• Strong communication skills — comfortable explaining coverage details clearly and confidently
• Detail-oriented approach to quoting, documentation, and CRM management
• Coachable mindset with a genuine interest in learning the insurance business
• Reliable and warm in client interactions
• Mid-level customer service or client-facing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as an Insurance Advisor, insurance agent, or in a similar P&C sales/service role
• Existing Missouri P&C license
• Familiarity with CRM systems used in an insurance agency setting
• Background in a referral-based or relationship-driven sales environment

Technical Skills

• Comfortable navigating quoting software and carrier portals
• Proficient with CRM platforms for tracking client interactions and policy details
• Basic computer proficiency, including email and standard office software
• Ability to learn new insurance carrier systems and tools quickly

This is an hourly position with pay ranging from $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience. The role is based in Sullivan, MO. You'll receive hands-on mentorship as you grow into this role, with a defined path for advancement as you develop your skills and your P&C license.
