Insurance Agency Office Administrator

The office administrator role requires an organized, thorough person to handle incoming calls from current and prospective clients. This person is the first to answer our busy phone lines and assist the caller with their requests, questions, and concerns. Previous experience working in an insurance agency is required.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Service personal lines insurance policies
• Update mortgage information and send out proof of coverage
• Send auto insurance ID Cards to clients
• Process and file claims with insurance carriers
• Monitor carrier alerts
• Process carrier inspection requirements with clients
• Forward incoming calls to agents
• Process policy payments
• Monitor transaction reports

• Must be proficient with email and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Suite)
• Strong multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple phone lines
• Outgoing, friendly, patient, and detail-oriented team player
• Organized and thorough with a positive attitude
• REQUIRED: Previous insurance experience
