Amy Blackwell State Farm Agency is seeking a full-time Insurance Agent Trainee to join our team in Murrieta, CA. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to establish a long-term career in insurance and develop the knowledge, licensing, and sales skills needed to succeed in the industry.
We welcome candidates who are already working in insurance, as well as individuals who are newer to the field and actively pursuing their Property & Casualty license. The ideal candidate is professional, coachable, motivated to learn, and serious about building a future in insurancenot simply looking for a short-term sales position.
Insurance experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates a genuine interest in the industry and a commitment to developing their career.
What Youll Do
- Learn and explain insurance products to help customers identify coverage that fits their needs.
- Generate and follow up on leads, develop customer relationships, and pursue new business opportunities.
- Prepare insurance quotes and conduct sales conversations with prospective and existing customers.
- Provide knowledgeable, responsive service while identifying opportunities to meet additional customer needs.
- Build a strong understanding of insurance products, coverage options, and agency processes.
- Work toward sales goals while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Continue developing your insurance knowledge and skills through training, coaching, and hands-on experience.
What Were Looking For
- An active Property & Casualty license, or someone actively working toward obtaining one.
- A genuine interest in building a career in insurance sales.
- A willingness to learn, accept coaching, and apply feedback.
- Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
- A professional, dependable, and self-motivated approach to work.
- The ability to have confident conversations with customers and follow through on opportunities.
- Life & Health license, or willingness to obtain it, is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
