Job Title: Insurance - Senior Director - Client Partner (For Vacant Job Opening)

So, what will I do?

  • Drive revenue responsibility of $15-20m+annually
  • Lead a small team of client partners dedicated to the portfolio.
  • Develop business strategy and planning for the aligned portfolio aligned to One Slalom strategy.
  • Manage delivery and business operations including metrics that include pipeline, margin, bill rates, managed revenue and employee engagement scores
  • Responsible for 20% individual utilization target
  • Establish, maintain and build Slalom's footprint within your assigned accounts
  • Build high trust relationships with VP, SVP and C-level clients
  • Partner with your client(s) to help influence strategic direction and identify ways Slalom can come in to help them achieve business objectives
  • Drive business development and contracting process, including accountability for profitability
  • Partner with practice leads to help solution the correct engagement approach and scope for our clients.
  • Advances and coaches others in Pursuit and Engagement Roles
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices and steward the Insurance community across Canada
  • Own the overall customer satisfaction survey outcomes, including the transformational scoring that rates Slalom's overall relationship with our clients.
  • Participate in Slalom leadership forums and be an ambassador of Slalom's culture and values

And, what will I bring?

  • 15+ years in consulting, with 4+ years in insurance industry
  • 3+ years of prior experience in a leadership role within management consulting (required)
  • Demonstrate an active portfolio of client relationships relevant to the Canadian market in the insurance industry.
  • Annual planning and strategic visioning, profit center management a plus.
  • Insurance Industry Knowledge including commercial underwriting/actuarial, claims automation
  • Knowledge of Canadian federal and province-specific insurance regulation and health plans (e.g., PIPEDA, Universal Health) (preferred)

Hybrid/In office: We are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader requires you onsite that you are able to meet those expectations/requirements
