    Description

    Insurance Specialist

    -In office position, salary based position

    Key Duties: 

    • New policy applications
    • Review against Outside carrier application requirements and necessary information for each case specifics
    • Confirm illustration and application details with Financial Advisor/team
    • Perform various pre-underwriting activities for policies, such as qualifying requests, gather and analyze data and client information, selecting rates and forms for coverage

    Existing policy service

    o Prepare insurance change forms or related documents, and review them for completeness and

    accuracy

    o Proactive follow up with our team, banks or other supervision teams to push for review and

    approval

    General office maintenance

    o Assist with pulling and providing policy reports on a regular and as-needed basis

    Creation and maintenance of relevant SOPs

    o Create new life insurance department SOPs as-needed for first time tasks/new policy types/new

    policy changes

    o Update existing SOPs as-needed to include updated rules and regulations or changes to SWP

    procedures
