Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented contractor to support daily operational and data tasks within an insurance environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys spreadsheet work, light data analysis, and process support. You’ll work with structured SOPs and receive training, while helping ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency across reporting and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Reformat and manipulate large spreadsheets (zip code–heavy datasets) to run through internal scripts and populate downstream systems
Perform routine data entry and validation with a high level of accuracy
Pull data from external websites and input into spreadsheets for KPI and tracking purposes
Translate raw data into clean, usable formats for stakeholders
Assist with writing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Update and maintain PowerPoint slides used for reporting and operational updates
Support 2–4 hours per day of structured data processing tasks, along with ad hoc operational support
Required Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall MS Office suite
Experience with data entry and spreadsheet manipulation
Ability to take raw data, perform low-level analysis, and reformat it for business use
Comfortable following detailed SOPs and learning internal tools/processes
High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Background in property insurance or homeowners’ insurance
P&C insurance experience (auto/home)
Prior experience as a claims adjuster in property or homeowners claims
