We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join our thriving team. This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely for a high-profile legal firm that specializes in insurance defense. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including civil litigation, premises liability, product liability, professional liability, auto accident liability, construction liability, and institutional liability. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who is ready to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Insurance Defense Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through trial preparation.
2. Developing strategies to effectively represent our clients in complex litigation matters.
3. Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
4. Conducting and defending depositions.
5. Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court.
6. Collaborating with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to case management.
7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in insurance law and related areas.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, the candidate must possess the following:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in insurance defense, specifically in civil litigation, premises liability, product liability, professional liability, auto accident liability, construction liability, and institutional liability.
3. Active member of the state Bar in good standing.
4. Exceptional research, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Proven ability to handle a large volume of cases.
6. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
