Insurance Defense Attorney

Knapp & Okon, PLLC, an insurance defense firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation experience. After 60 days, there is potential for a hybrid or work from home schedule.

The position allows substantial independence combined with feedback and mentoring. Attorney will be responsible for handling his/her own caseload including depositions, court appearances, and drafting of pleadings, motions and reports. Job Duties: 

Meet with clients
Propound and respond to written discovery
Attend all party and witness depositions
Retain all appropriate experts and attend all expert depositions
Attend all hearings
Prepare for and attend mediations
Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdict
Prepare and file appropriate post-trial motions
Attend file audits, litigation attorney meetings
