We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Insurance Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This role requires a strong background in workers' compensation and a deep understanding of insurance defense. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex cases, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for providing top-notch legal representation for our clients. Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, focusing primarily on workers' compensation cases.
2. Develop and implement case strategy from inception to resolution, including conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and participating in trials.
3. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
4. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to provide informed advice to clients.
5. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the smooth handling of cases.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in insurance and workers' compensation law, and apply this knowledge to current cases.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates and ensuring their needs are met.
8. Comply with all legal standards and regulations.

Job Details

Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and good standing.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an insurance defense role, with a focus on workers' compensation.
4. Proven trial experience and a strong track record of success in managing complex cases.
5. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to effectively resolve disputes.
6. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex laws and regulations.
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.
8. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines.
9. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with clients.
10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
