Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Litigation Defense Attorney to join our growing Houston area practice.

Job Description

• Handle civil litigation defense matters from inception through resolution
• Manage cases involving personal injury, transportation, and other general liability matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Develop case strategy and communicate directly with clients throughout the litigation process
• Manage multiple active matters and deadlines independently

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience
• Defense litigation experience strongly preferred
• Personal injury defense and transportation litigation experience preferred
• J.D. and active Texas Bar license in good standing
• Strong legal research, writing, deposition, and case management skills
• Ability to travel locally and throughout Texas as needed
