Insurance Manager, Wealth Management

Join a nationally recognized wealth management firm as an Insurance Manager, leading the life insurance, long-term care, and annuities division. This role oversees underwriting, case placement, proposal development, and illustration production while building and managing a growing team. The Manager will support advisors in delivering insurance and retirement planning solutions and drive business growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

Operations & Placement

• Manage underwriting and case placement for life insurance, LTC, and annuity business.
• Develop efficient, scalable workflows that support quality, compliance, and client service.
• Partner with carriers and product providers to secure competitive solutions.

Product Design & Proposal Development

• Oversee insurance analyses, product comparisons, and client illustrations.
• Ensure recommendations align with client objectives and quality standards.

Leadership & Training

• Recruit, develop, and manage insurance professionals and support staff.
• Establish performance expectations, provide coaching, and foster collaboration.
• Deliver advisor education and serve as a technical resource on insurance and annuity strategies.

Business Growth & Advisor Support

• Identify opportunities to expand insurance revenue and enhance client outcomes.
• Build relationships with carriers, wholesalers, and strategic partners.
• Partner with advisors on advanced planning, product suitability, implementation, and ongoing servicing.
