Insurance Operations Coordinator

Description:
Position performs a wide range of clerical and administrative assistance functions.
Responsible for maintenance of records, data retrieval/compilation, financial reporting (budget/variance/cost tracking), month-end close, and ensuring that all transactions are in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
May perform some limited accounts payable activities, some limited inventory activities, or indicator tracking. Job may include other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education:
High School Diploma / GED required.

Relevant Experience:
11-15 years of experience in administrative financial support, record maintenance, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Responsibilities:
Leads financial tracking, reporting, and analysis for business services operations.
Acts as a key point of contact for risk management and insurance claims for catastrophic events.
Oversees master data creation and accounting for catastrophic insurance claims.
Manages discussions and claims processing using PALMS between risk management and insurance adjusters.

Other:
Strong experience in financial reporting, compliance tracking, and cross-department collaboration.

Additional Job Details	Insurance Operations Coordinator This position provides essential support for daily insurance administration processes, financial coordination, and proper accounting methodology. Key Responsibilities: " Partner with project management teams on procurement activities, including purchase order creation, requisition processing, and full procure-to-pay support " Track insurance-related costs and execute month-end accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting " Collaborate with accounting to ensure proper accounting methodology and compliance with company policy " Support master data creation and maintenance to ensure data accuracy across systems " Coordinate cross-functionally with project managers, site personnel, finance, and business management to prepare and distribute memos required under financing agreements " Facilitate executive signature processes for required documentation " Maintain organized financial data and insurance tracking systems " Monitor and validate all insurance-related cost flows " Provide cost analysis and financial support to insurance providers Preferred Qualifications: " Experience with SAP financial modules " Knowledge of month-end accrual processes " Strong attention to detail and organizational skills " Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
