Responsibilities

  • Our Personal Lines Account Manager performs the essential duties of managing a book of established business.
  • An authentic desire to help clients with their insurance needs and to do that honestly and with the customer's best interests in mind.
  • The ability to cultivate new business with both existing and new accounts is also a critical function of this position.
  • Skill and proven success in quoting & writing new personal lines policies with multiple companies.
  • The individual who fills this position is the Personal Lines link between the company, clients/prospects and the multiple insurance carriers represented by the company.
  • Foster strong relationships with our clients to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience working in an independent insurance agency.
  • A Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license in good standing.
  • High level customer service skills including being a great listener, responsive, efficient, and well-spoken.
  • The ability to juggle multiple tasks and unexpected issues graciously and with effective time management.
  • Excellent phone and written communication skills
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
