About the Role:
Our company is seeking a Customer Service and Sales Representative for our Independent Insurance Agency. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills. We are an organization that rewards loyalty, dedication, consistency and commitment.


This position pays a Base Salary plus Commissions, a Health Care stipend and an available retirement plan. Warm leads provided. $17/hr to $21/hr base salary depending on experience. Base salary can be negotiated higher with a book of business. There is also an available $1,000 signing bonus. A tenacious, hardworking individual can earn upwards of $40,000 to $60,000 the first year.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect, develop, and maintain client relationships to generate new insurance business
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options
• Process policy applications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently
• Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism
• Support clients through the claims process and serve as a liaison with insurance carriers
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management systems
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to overall agency growth

Requirements:

• Active Michigan Property & Casualty License (Life & Health Insurance Producer License helpful)
• Prior experience in insurance sales and customer service required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
• Proficiency with computer systems and insurance agency management software
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet sales targets and deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus
