Salary Range: $220000.00 - $250000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day direction of the agency and help shape a positive experience for clients and staff.
Grow new business by developing relationships, identifying opportunities, and guiding clients to the right coverage.
Support existing policyholders with thoughtful service, policy reviews, and coverage recommendations.
Work with carriers to quote, market, and place business in a way that supports both the client and the agency.
Set clear goals for sales performance and help the team stay focused on steady, healthy growth.
Review accounts for gaps in coverage and make practical recommendations that protect clients better.
Handle escalated questions or concerns with professionalism and a calm, solutions-first mindset.
Keep agency procedures organized and make sure day-to-day operations support a smooth client experience.
Represent The Atlantic District in the community with the kind of presence that builds trust over time.
Active Property & Casualty license or the ability to obtain one, if required by the role.
Proven experience in insurance sales, agency leadership, or a closely related client-facing role.
Strong knowledge of personal and/or commercial insurance products, quoting, and policy placement.
Experience building, managing, and growing client relationships.
Comfort with agency systems, CRM tools, and standard business software.
Clear communication skills for talking with clients, carriers, and internal staff.
Ability to make sound decisions, solve problems, and lead with confidence and care.
Preferred experience overseeing sales goals, producer performance, or agency operations.
Local knowledge of the Skowhegan, Maine market is a plus.
