Salary Range: $220000.00 - $250000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Connect with prospective and existing customers to understand their insurance needs
Recommend coverage options that fit each clients situation and goals
Prepare quotes, submit applications, and help guide policies from start to finish
Follow up with clients in a timely, thoughtful way to support sales growth and retention
Answer questions about policy options, renewals, and coverage changes with clarity and care
Maintain accurate records in the agency system and keep client information organized
Build trusted relationships that make customers feel supported long after the first conversation
Work closely with the agency team to keep service smooth and communication consistent
Active Property & Casualty insurance license or the ability to obtain one promptly, if required
Previous experience in insurance sales, account management, or a client-facing sales role
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain coverage clearly and confidently
Comfort working with leads, referrals, and follow-up conversations
Basic computer skills and ability to learn CRM or quoting systems
Detail-oriented approach when preparing applications, quotes, and policy documentation
Ability to work on-site in Derby, Vermont
Preferred: knowledge of personal lines or commercial lines insurance
Preferred: experience building long-term customer relationships in a service-based role
