Andy Cortez Insurance Agency is one of Santa Maria's fastest-growing Farmers Insurance offices and we're building a sales team that wants to win. If you're the kind of person who gets energized by a warm lead, can build rapport in 30 seconds, and isn't afraid to ask for the sale, keep reading.

What you'll earn:

$20/hour base you're covered while you build your book

Commission on every policy you bind no cap, no ceiling

Realistic path to $50,000$75,000+ your first full year if you produce

Salary Range: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Follow up with warm inbound leads and pre-quoted prospects

Make daily outbound follow-up calls to move deals forward

Ask directly for the sale and guide prospects to a decision

Bind Personal Lines, Specialty, and Umbrella policies

Handle objections confidently and set clear next steps

Track activity and results in agency systems

Sales experience preferred insurance background helpful but not required

Confident, persistent, and comfortable on the phone

Coachable, accountable, and results-focused

Active California P&C and Life & Health licenses preferred. Not licensed yet? We'll sponsor the right candidate you must pass licensing before going live on the sales floor.
